Race at Soldier Hollow Pro XCT

The Soldier Hollow Pro XCT is Utah’s premier cross country mountain bike race. Summit Bike Club founded the Soldier Hollow Pro XCT in 2017 to provide developing riders in Utah access to Elite level racing. For 2018, top Elite and junior riders will be in attendance, pursuing points for world championship qualifications and UCI world rankings.

Soldier Hollow Pro XCT caters to riders of all abilities, not just the sport’s fastest racers. There will be categories for all age groups and ability levels. Three cross country courses offer challenging racing tailored to every level of athlete, while the short track and skills events contribute to one of the most well-rounded weekends of racing on this year’s calendar.

Cat 1 15-16 and UCI categories will be called up in the order listed in the links below. All other categories will be staged in order as shown on Wave Schedule: Detail.

*Short Track for 17-18 UCI Juniors is not UCI sanctioned

The Skills at Soldier Hollow provide an opportunity for developing athletes to test their skills against other riders. The competition helps the technical riders stand out from the others, and provides drill ideas that can be done at home. For riders in any category from 9-18, the skills competition will also count towards the weekend overall, TOGS Omnium, alongside the short track and cross country.

Skill Examples:

The following videos were examples from the first year of the Tech Dev Skills. Since then additional skills have been added (like bottle pickups) while difficulty of each setup varies for the different age groups.

Due to unforeseen last minute circumstances, we have had to cancel the Friday night Biathlon fun ride. Look forward to 2019 when we can have everything ironed out for this unique event.
