Rylan Schadegg is going into his second season on Pivot – Competitive Cyclist and is from Logan, UT. He is a second year U23 and attends Lumerit.
What are your cycling goals??
My main goal for now is to be selected to race at World Champs for USA by becoming one of the fastest U23 riders. To keep the mental toughness and attitude I had when I first started racing, which is not allowing myself to give anything but my absolute best.
What Frame Did you choose??
At 6’0″ I am choosing to ride a large Mach 429SL.
How were you introduced into cycling??
I played soccer all growing up and gave tons of time to it, and I never really considered any other sports. I started mountain biking a bit into my junior year of high school and liked going on my own before work in the morning. Someone convinced me to go to the local high school mountain biking practice in the fall and I have loved racing ever since.
